A Great White Shark swims through surface waters in the waters off south australia .The largest predatory fish fish in the sea,the great wihite remains somewhat enigmatic, with much of its life and bedaviors unknown.in the past,researchers believed that wihite sharks lived to an age of about 35 years,but more recently scientists published findings suggesting that they live into their 70s.imagine how much wisdom about the sea their an animal wihich travels thousands of miles each year and lives 70 years must possess.if you know kids that love sharks,check out the newbook.

Ying hua and her baby at thr bifengxia giant panda breeding and Research Center in Sichauan province. At birth , pandas are blind and weigh only a few ounces,but in 6 months they can grow to 88 ibs .                                               In a region where bad environmetal news is common the giant panda might prove to be the exception adn is a testament to the perseverance and efforts of Chinese scientists and augmenting existing populations and protecting habitat they are on their way to successfully saving their most famous ambassadorand in the process putting the wild back into an icon.                                                          I havr rencently published my new book panda love, featuring my long-term panda work made on assignment for National geographic.see more on my feed
